  • Data Analyst

    P3+Uplift is working with an Iowa based client in the search for a Sr. Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will have experience working within large enterprise systems for sales and marketing, support and managing custom features for clients of all sizes. The Data Analyst will be fluid in data mapping, reporting and have the mindset similar to a Business Analyst for digging deeper into process and system capabilities. The Data Analyst will should also have experience in working in multiple data bases including developing at times in SQL. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a top notch data team on a hybrid onsite work schedule.
    Responsibilities:

    • Analyzing complex data systems and documenting data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies.
    • Developing automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information from database systems.
    • Compiling detailed reporting using data reporting tools, such as Business Objects, and making recommendations based on their findings.
    • Working in partners with business analysts, data architects, and database developers to build transactional and warehousing systems.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Computer Science or MIS.
    • 10 + years’ experience working closely with IT Leaders, Sr Data Engineers and Software Developer.
    • Proven experience reading, writing and developing in SQL.
    • Ability to communicate up and down a team presenting to leaders.
    • 5 years’ experience trouble shooting and presenting data issues to IT Leaders.
    • 2 years’ experience working with data architecture professionals on improving data solutions.

    Compensation:

    $60.00 – $70.00/hr

  • Solutions Architect

    P3+Uplift is partnering with a Des Moines based technology company in the recruitment of a Subject Matter Expert in the transition from traditional SDLC to a modern Agile environment. The position will be the key partner assisting senior and executive leaders in defining vision and designing architecture. This position fits a tenured agile leader who enjoys navigating complex transformations. Ideally the consultant will use their expertise to evaluate and collaborate to improve LEAN processes. This position will require onsite in office 3 days a week for 6 months. As our client matures their business and technical operations, product development and support they will become more efficient with measurable results for customers. This is a contract to hire position with the base salary mid-point being 190,000. This position will offer medical, dental, vision and 401K as well as annual bonus, free parking and many attractive perks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with team members who are excited to learn, enjoy community within the work place and provide an environment where team members are empowered.
    • Champion continuous improvement and process innovations, shepherding in opportunities to leverage cloud-native technologies.
    • Assist in leading the enterprise architecture strategy while utilizing principles like scaled agile and SAFe.
    • Collaborate and advise senior leadership who are shaping the technical direction ensuring company investments across the enterprise are in-line with long-term business objectives.
    • Join and assist in maturing planning and the execution of Program Increment planning.
    • Drive continuous exploration activities, finding and defining opportunities for technological proof of concepts and innovate through research, MVP and experimentation.
    • Join Product Management team members in defining their Product roadmap to ensure that architectural designs are considered.
    • Collaborate with niche technical leaders and innovators like data scientists, security experts, and operational teams to understand and design architectural variances for new product and modern technical advances.
    • Measure and define what areas of the enterprise can reach above average outcomes in performance and customer experience.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
    • More than 5 years’ experience helping companies successfully transition to Agile.
    • 10+ years’ experience in solutions, enterprise architecture or leadership role.
    • LEAN, SAFe, XP, Six Sigma Continuous Improvements throughout a mid-sized organization.
    • Five years of experience selecting innovative and up to date philosophies within modern technology methods like DevOps, continuous improvement and continuous deployment.
    • Utilize subject matter expertise in assessing resources.
    • Mentor and guide in all areas of agile and product delivery as needed.
    • Communication and presentation skills must be a 10 out of 10.
    • Experience in data modeling a plus.
